Kaito_Kai
Kaito Kai is an electrifying duo consisting of Brussels-based Kaito Winse, who forms part of a Burkina Faso griot music family and is one-third of Avalanche Kaito, and Kai Hugo aka Palmbomen II, a renowned Dutch producer now based in Antwerp. Originating from a chance meeting and wild all-night-long impro set at Het Bos between Kaito and Kai, the dynamic pair started as a spontaneous idea and soon blossomed into a full-blown project.
Kaito Kai offers a blend of global acid house, Italo, and offbeat percussive rhythms, infused with unconventional, almost otherworldly vocals. Imagine a fusion of Underground Resistance meeting the raw, vibrant energy of Kokoko! Their live shows are magnetic, with Kai masterfully weaving synths and electronics, while Kaito brings an unpredictable, captivating energy with his flute, wild vocals, and expressive dance. Every performance is a unique experience—immersive, hypnotic, and incredibly fun.
They’ve already performed at Lentekabinet and attracted interest from major festivals like Lowlands.
